Semi-Automated Layout

Layout support in QNRWP-A is standard and flexible: Header, Footer and a Content section inbetween. The Content row may consist of one, two or three columns, and may also feature a single-column Sub-Header row.

The best part is that the appearance of these layout components is decided by whether the relevant Sidebars contain Widgets or not. An empty Sidebar simply won’t appear and the layout will adjust, controlled by CSS and other custom code in the theme.

The fact that native WordPress features are used for the layout instead of a plugin makes for a lighter, more maintainable theme that is also easier to customize. Clients who appreciate the benefit will understand why this is the better approach.

Website owners should retain the ability to add and edit content, but if they are also able to edit the interface, they will soon run into problems that will need fixing by a professional. The focus of the QNRWP-A theme is to do it right from the start, avoiding problems later.
